Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology is a research oriented national university located in the Fuchu region of Tokyo established in 1949. TUAT is focused on Agriculture and Technology which puts TUAT on the forefront of creating and cultivating ways to have a environmentally sustainable world.

This is done by focusing on a research based was of learning and free thinking. TUAT follows the motto "MORE SENSE": Mission Oriented Research and Education giving Synergy in Endeavors toward a Sustainable Earth which develops students who are dedicated to resolving the future issues of mankind.
TUAT has two department of studies: Agriculture and Engineering. Within these departments are a variety of studies focused on cultivating free thinkers and problem solvers. TUAT is a research oriented institution therefore students are encouraged to test new ideas and find solutions to issues of the new age.
